End Of Year Book Tag: 2020

‘Tis the season for hot cocoa, snowball fights and end of year book tags. I’ve seen this tag on many awesome blogs, so I thought I would give it a try! This will be the end of my first year blogging (not a full year but still) and I’ve really been enjoying this. Also, Happy Hanukkah for everyone who celebrates πŸ˜‰

Are there any books you started this year that you need to finish?

Generally, I either finish a book or never do, but I do have one book that I need to finish. I had Akata Warrior on hold on Libby for forever. And of course when the audiobook finally came, that was the week where I had no time to listen to it. Sigh. Anywho, I’m definitely looking forward to that.

Do you have an autumnal book to transition into the end of the year?

Hmm, well, I live in Canada and winter starts very early. But, I generally do read more thrillers and books that are perfect with a cup of warm tea. Every year, generally at this time, I read a book my mom got me, The Wolf Wilder. It’s the perfect winter book.

Is there a new release you’re still waiting for?

This one’s tough! Only one book, The Sky Beyond The Storm, by Sabaa Tahir comes to mind. I’m probably forgetting others, but this is the one that sticks out to me!

What are three books you want to read before the end of the year?

Oooh, but there are so many more then just three!! Other then the ones I’ve already mentioned, I’ll go with Six Of Crows, Clap When You Land, and Red White and Royal Blue. There are so many more, but these are the books that I’m currently reading/books that I asked for as gifts.

Is there a book you think could still shock you and become your favourite book of the year?

Other then the ones I’ve already mentioned (which I’m hoping will become some favourites) I’m going to go with I’m Not Your Perfect Mexican Daughter. I’ve heard some great things about this book, from both reviews and friends so I’m pretty excited about it!

Have you started making reading plans for 2021?

I’m horrible at making plans. I’m kind of a go with the flow kind of person, but I have been looking into some new releases and sequels of books that I’ve read this year. Probably top on my list is Concrete Rose, by Angie Thomas which is bolded and underlined on my tbr. πŸ˜›

Note: I tried adding the pictures of the books but sadly it was not cooperating. As usual, if you see this tag and want to do it, go ahead!!
