Valentine’s Day – Ft. The Romances I Love

Bonjour tous le monde! Happy valentines day, hope you’re all doing well. Somebody teach me how to do introductions. This month so far has been pretty hectic. Quizzes and projects have been thrown at me (at least that’s what it feels like), and COVID never ceases to be relentless. Now, if you know anything about me you know that I’m not huge on romance books or movies. Hear that? That’s all the romance lovers gasping.

But seriously, before you faint, I do enjoy romances when they’re done well. So here are some I find completely adorable, sweet, and awesome. Keep in mind that I haven’t read/watched a ton of romances, so this is from a beginner!

Books that I’ve already read:

I had a pretty long book hangover after reading this. Alex and Henry might just be my otp.

If you haven’t already read this book I highly recommend it. I think I read it last year and I remember loving Nova and Tam.

Ahh yes there was no way that The Henna Wars wasn’t going to make it on this list. I loved the childhood friends to lovers trope that Nishat and Flávia went through.

They Both Die At The End was probably the first YA romance that I ever read. Mateo and Rufus are so different, but also so perfect.

Now this is actually a mystery novel (I mean, just look at that cover) but I loved Pippa and Ravi.

Books that I’m reading:

I’m only about two chapters in and I cannot tell you how much I love this book so far!

I received this book by doing a blog tour, and I’m so glad. This is adorable, heartfelt, and such a great read so far.

From tv shows:

Can I just say I love all the romances on this show? Jake and Amy? Adorable. I love how they respect each other. Captain Holt and Kevin? Hilariously adorable.

David and Patrick. Do I need to go on?

Books I want to read:

I just-, I mean-, look at that cover.

I’ve heard so many great things about this book!

This has been on my tbr for too long, I really can’t wait to read it!

Most anticipated release:

For me, pretty much anything by Adiba Jaigirdar is an instant buy/read. I seriously think about this book on a daily basis!

What do you think should be on this list? What are your favourite romance novels? Most anticipated releases? Have you watched Schitts Creek or Brooklyn 99?
